Invisble Cities- notes from the SF underground
by Hybrid Project Artists: Mina Liccione, Tim Barsky, & Mike "Each" Tinoco
"Invisible Cities" is an interwoven set of narratives about San Francisco, brought to life through beatboxing, tapdance, aural-mime, body-percussion, & spoken word. A project of Intersection for the Arts' Hybrid Project, "Cities" premiered in June 2005 at Yerba Buena as part of Intersection's 40th anniversary festival. The show features Mina Liccione, who has appeared in Broadyway's Stomp, Tim Barsky, creator of the Bright River, and Mike "Each" Tinoco, a 20 yr. old old beatboxing virtuoso. The group worked closely with Campo Santo's Sean San Jose to develop Invisible Cities, & the run is being produced by Everyday Theatre & Epic Arts, producers of the Bright River, and Rosin Covin/VauDeVire Society's sold- out Great American Music Hall performance. Because of unusual pre-interest in the show, it is being presented in a limited Bay Area Run for 2 Weeks Only, August 5th-13th.
