More Information Billing itself as "the really alternative film festival," CineKink NYC will run October 21-24, 2004.
Presented by CineKink, an organization dedicated to the recognition and encouragement of kink-positive depictions in film and television, topics touched upon will include S/M, leather, fetish and roleplay,swinging, non-monogamy, polyamory and gender bending. With offerings drawn from around the world, works presented at CineKink NYC will range from documentary to drama, camp comedy to hot porn - and everything in between.
The festivities begin Thursday, October 21, at 8 PM, with a kick-off party to be held at Remote Lounge (327 Bowery, NYC), featuring multi-media screenings, schmooze and a fundraising auction to benefit CineKink and the production of a new documentary, "Barbara v. Ashcroft: A Public Voyeur." ($5 suggested donation; no ticket required.)
The festival then moves to Anthology Film Archives (32 Second Avenue, NYC), Friday, October 22 through Sunday, October 24, with several different film and video programs scheduled for each day.
